Many years ago I started my career in the travel industry as a hostess/travel manager at Hotelplan - so my profession became a hobby at the same time. I continued my career as a branch manager at TCS Lucerne for almost 25 years, where I also organised and often accompanied group tours. I travelled around the world, sometimes by bus, train, ship or plane. Certainly unforgettable were the cruises with Queen Elisabeth 2 and Queen Mary from Southampton to New York and with Concorde back to London. The cruises to the Antarctic remain in the memory as unforgettable journeys. Simply getting away into nature, pausing at the interesting penguins and enjoying the peace and quiet. Many beautiful cultural journeys with visits to the opera also remain in fond memory.
